Notes to Nurses

Nurses make a huge difference. And whether it was for you or someone you love, chances are you’ve seen that difference in action.

Now you can send a note to Ontario’s nurses, one that everyone can see. Thank a nurse – let them know you appreciate the work they do and the care they deliver.

I was recently asked my opinion on nursing shortage and some comments made on whether they pay nurses too much ..My reply . Can you really pay a nurse too much for being with you or your family when they are sick or possibly dying? A life or death decision which usually comes from the nurse as SHE/HE are the ones at the bedside with the patient. Invaluable
Received care from nurses that you can not measure in dollars and cents. Thank you so much

I have nursed in almost every domain of this awesome profession. Hospital RNs are vital, as care coordinators, researchers, educators, LTC RN's, Mental health RN's etc are. Every one of us adds value
We need patients to speak up on the decline in care they are experiencing due to the lack of RNs! #stoptheRNmassacre Stay Strong!

My brother has been at MET for over a month and has received excellent care. The nurses have made a long stay tolerable, and both of us are deeply grateful. Cuts will damage already stressed nurses.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with so many amazing nurses who are dedicated to caring for their patients with skill, tenderness and humour. Kudos to all of you!
